i am 7 days late...but i have some cramping and a sharp pain that comes and goes.my bb's are really sore but have been for 2 weeks now I am pretty regular and did have unprotected s_x. can i be pregnant and if so why would i test negative? did i test to soon?

You could be pregnant. And yes, you can test negative. The first time I got pregnant I tested negative because my HCG levels were lower than normal.(HCG is the chemical that is found in your body when you are pregnant.)And that would give you a false negative. But now that I'm trying to get pregnant again I had a test come out positive and it was a false positive because my HCG levels were high due to some fertility pills I was taking. So I would go to a local womens clinic and get a fool-proof- blood test. It's the only way I've found to be positively sure.

Well there is every chance you could be. i was 2 weeks late and did a home pregnancy kit. It was negative but i still thought i was pregnant as i had all the symptons. I waited another week and was still late, So i tried another test and was positive. The first time i did it my HCG levels(hormones) were not high enough to detect a pregnancy. My advise is to wait a few more days and try again. Good Luck.
