I am 6.5 weeks and have been having cramping and brown discharge off and on for 4 days.
The ER on Wednesday said most likely miscarriage but I went today for u/s and the Gynecologyst says that my baby looks perfect and that he fully expects that it will go to full term.
How can he be so certain?
When I asked him about the bleeding and pain he said he had no idea what was causing it but he wasnt concerned in the slightest.
What should I make of this?
We have been trying for 4 years and I am so desperate to keep this baby and have it go full term but I am terrified by the bleeding and cramping.

hi im confused i went for my scan and nuthing was their they took my blood and it was negitive so the told me it was a miscarraige but i still feel pregnant getting flutters in my belly and getting bigger than normal plz help could i still be pregnant

Holly, brown discharge is common - the lining of the uterus that did not come down as a period now has to come down as "old blood". Some cramping is to be expected as the embryo snuggles in and the uterus starts to expand. Good luck in the months ahead.
