Hi, You take it if you had unprotected s_x and do not want a baby. This is really only for extreme measures because if you don't want a baby you should use contraception (ie condoms, the pill etc...). Although, a friend of mine took the morning after pill and it did not work - she was still pregnant! She had to make many trips to hospitals in London to check the baby was OK. It was perfectly fine.
