can u b preg. after u had ur tubes cut and tied over 18 yrs. ago?

UPDATE--I went to the docs and had urine test--NEGATIVE pregnancy test...so they drew blood and they tested me for Galactorrhea (for the discharge from my b___sts)...I even showed her my discharge. The test results from my pap test came back good--and also for the Galactorrhea (my prolactin levels are normal) I did start my period on December 22. It was a normal period just VERY LATE! I still dont know why I had discharge from my nipples....that is very confusing along with the flutters I STILL feel! I know it is not a baby but my doctor really cannot give me any satisfying reason that my period was 2 months late, discharge, and flutters!......I am finally glad to know I am definately not pregnant and I can get on with daily life.....I just wish I had more satisfying answers to my symptoms :(

I had my tubes tied 3 years ago. Not sure if they were cut and burned? But i have been experiencing symptoms of pregnancy. I have 3 children already and am a llittle worried that i might be pregnant. What are the chances of my tubes growing back together or something of that sort...????

I Am also wondering if I am "PG". I am 45 years old I had my TL done in 1990 which makes 17 years ago. My Periods were regular for the whole year of 2007 up until December then I missed my period I am now 13 days late I have at times felt nausia, Some cramping and squiver like sensations in my lower abdomen and of course the tender and sore b___st that also feel swelled too. could any of these symptoms be the same and menopause??? I am haven't made an appointment with a doc yet. don't know what to think of all this .

I too, am 45 years old and had my tubes tied, cut and burned 9 years ago. My b___sts have been sore to the touch for a few days now and the ONLY time this has happened in the past is when i was pregnant! my periods have been like clockwork since i started them. i just have a "feeling" could anything else be causing my b___st soreness? could i possibly be pregnant after 9 years and the proceedure i've had? thought i would wait a few days to see if the pain goes away. and see if i start my period by the way, i've never had b___st pain a__sociated with my periods. i'm a little freaked out, my boyfriend however is ecstatic at the possibility.

hi my name is josette an i am 26 years old an i have a tubal about 7 months after i had my twins in 2004 an then in nov. 2005 i miscarried an then again in june of 2008 i miscarried again an then in sep. i had my period 3 times an then again in oct. i had my period 3 times an it only last for 3 to 4 days then right before thanksgiving i started to have sigins that i was pergant like wanted to eat things that i would only want all the time if i was pergant then in dec. i had a really light period that only last 3 day an everytime my boyfriend rubs my belly it get really hard an i feel a little movements an about 4 days ago i had s_x an the next morning when i got out i was spotting a little an now 3 day later i have had only a little spotting that has been really pink an now it is a light brown an it has been coming an going i think i know my body after having 4 kids but i dont know i feel pregant an my boyfriend an i want to have a baby an i want more kids i dont know what to do please help.......

Hi Everyone.. I was married for 14 yrs, I have 2 kids, ages 16 & 13. After my 2nd child I had my tubes tied 2005 cz of an abusive marrage. I divorced him 5 yrs ago now I remarried and would love to have 1 more baby. My periods have been playing games with me either I'm early or I'm 1 week late , when I'm late I get so happy thinking OMG am I pregnant? I don't know what my chances are, thinking of doing tube revers or undergoing enfertility or adoption.. All of us have the same questions, but unfortunatly we havnt had a good positive answers. I had an ectopic pregnancy before my youngest child was born. I had emergancy surgery and they had to remove one of my tubes completely. I concieved my daughter right away after surgery. Once she was born I had a tubal ligation ( they just put a clamp on my tube) this was over 9 years ago. My last menstral cycle was very light compared to usual, my b___sts have been very tender and when squeezed they expel clear fluid. Is it possible that I'm prgnant? What r the chances of getting pregnant when tube was clampped?

Can i be preg i tooken home prenancy test over and over had blood test done and all came out neg. I had my tubes tied 7years ago but i feel like im preg i feel movement, tightness in my stomach,mood swings,cavings,and by stomach looks like i am i just dont know what to do anymore.

I'm wondering the same thing. I'm 32 yrs. old and had mine tied 10 yrs ago. I have always had a regular AF every 28 days and I'm now 41 days late. I took 4 hpt and all negative. I'm not able to make a dr. Appointment since he's all booked. Not sure what to think at this point. Anyone with advice will certainly help. Thanks

Chris, you aren't complaining of any early pregnancy signs. With that and the negative tests there is little chance you are pregnant. Hang on to that appointment - it's time for a Pap smear and mammogram anyway.

I had my tubes cut and burned 7 yrs ago. I had a chemical pregnacy at 5 wks 4 yrs ago.  b4 my period came (2x this mnth) my husband and i have had sex a couple of times esp close to my period, got my period but have been sleeping alot, queasy,dizzy,lightheaded, feeling a hunger that hurts like i haven't eatn in days. I'm not feeling like myself I'm a very active mother of 3 +2 step kids and i never feel like this before even having my periods. My question is can a women still become pregnant and having a period?

I had my tubes tied almost a year ago, and imagine my suprise when I found out that I am pregnant. 4 pregnancy tests and a doctor's visit later... I am not quite sure how I feel about this, since I did get my tubes tied for a reason.
