This hard to explain but I'd do my best:
Now I am 12 weeks in to my pregnancy and when I look at my stomach I can see it beating like heartbeat....Is that my baby or is it mine? How can tell the difference of mine and the baby's.

I had the same experience with my first all the way up to 9 mos. I have just started noticing it again with this one when i lay flat or am laying back in the tub. Im certain it is not the babys though.Ther is no possible way you could feel your babys heart beat throug all the layers he is nestled in.
