Dee-Dee, wow...I could see how you might feel overwhelmed and confused with all the information they gave you. I hope the cardiologists give you the aok to get started soon. And I agree with Ren, if you want to give IUI a try you should talk to your dr about it. At least have them explain to you why they want to skip it and go straight to the IVF. Good luck and keep us posted.
Well, I'm on CD 5 and my day 3 of 100 mg clomid. Still no side effects besides having a super heavy period. This isnt comforting to me though...almost makes me feel like its not going to work. Shouldnt I feel something? Oh, well.. I guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best.

April- I have read that a lot of women don't have any s/e from Clomid. I think it just depends. The only thing I had was headaches and mood swings. Are you going to use an OPK and track you BBT? Babydust!

Ren-I havent been tracking my bbt. With my work schedual it would be practically impossible to take it at the same time every morning. I did, however by a back of 25 opk's off of ebay. Not sure when I should start testing.

Had my ultrasound today. Only one baby for me. But this is not a bad thing, at least we don't have to get a new car!

april28- thank you! and GL for this cycle! i also didn't have many s/e the cycle i got my BFP, apart from being super hungry ALL the time, lol! with regards to testing with OPKs, i'd start from about CD10 or 11, everyday until you get a positive.
dee-dee- i also think you should express your wish to try IUI first to your doctor. whatever happens GL and stay positive!
LindaS- thank you! and yes, i took clomid CD3-7. i took 50mg on CD3, then missed CD4, but took 100mg on CD5 +6, then 50mg on CD7. a little mixed up, but i took 300mg in total!
my TCM doc told me accupuncture would help with the nausea. well, i went today, and i can tell you IT DIDN'T MAKE ANY BLOODY DIFFERENCE!! i do feel a little more relaxed though, which is good! I am only going to go every 3-4 wks now.

Ren26 - I'm doing okay how are you doing? I'm at the end of my 2ww I'm on cd 25/12dpo I did take a hpt on V-Day and it was bfn which I knew it would be I was only 8dpo. How was your V-Day?

greatgeta - Nothing new to report on me. I tested on V-Day and it was bfn I was only 8dpo so AF is just around the corner I am currently cd 25/12dpo and when I get off I am going to go to the $ store and get me some hpt and I will test this weekend. My temp did go down some from yesterday 98.53 to 98.42 do you think I should be concern or just wait it out. I know I have been above my coverline for 12 days and this is the first time this has every happened. I also know that once my temp start going down down then she will be here I will keep you posted. I am still waiting on the referal to come back from the insurance company on the the 9th it said it was pending then on the 17th it said it needed more information from the gyn and today they are checking to see what type of fertility coverage I have if any so I guess it is still a 50/50 I will let you know I should know something by the end of the week or next keeping my fingers cross that I know something by the end of this week so I can make my appointment and if AF start over the weekend then I can get right in. Say a prayer for me. How are you feeling? How did your doctor visit go? Was you able to see the baby. Rub your belly for me.
greatgeta - Well as you tell I didn't read all of my post. A VERY BIG TIMES TWO CONGRATULATION TO YOU I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU. Did you take anything this cycle? Take care and take it easy. Keep us updated when you can.
dee-dee - I know you are upset right now but take a few days and let all the information you got sink in and go from there. I just think this is a minor road block so don't get discourage and give up. Try and stay positive you will be holding your baby by the end of this year. I am sending you a big hug! Ok guys, Im wondering if I should be concerned. I completed my clomid on wednesday. I havent had a + opk yet and the hubby and I did it last night. This morning I had a little bright red blood but mostly dark old blood (doesnt usually happen after we do it). Lasted for a good part of the morning and has started to subside now. Still no symptoms/ side effects except for being a bit crabby. So anyone have a clue as to what might be up?

Ren26 - No I don't think I will be testing because yesterday cd 26/13dpo my temp was 98.33 and today cd 27/14dpo my temp did a nose dive to 97.94 so I know AF will be here over the weekend. I will only test if my temp go way up tomorrow. The good news is I did get my approval from the insurance company so I can see the fertility dr even though they don't really pay c___p I have an appointment on March 2 at 2:30 will keep you posted have a great weekend. Ren26- thank you while I'm getting the okay for the cardio and the high-risk i'm talking to my re to agree to do the IUI 1st.
April28 - thanks it was overwhelming and very confusing. it took a while to sink in. He thinks that eventhough my tubes are clear there might be scar tissue built up at the ends which is making it hard for the egg p/u from the d&c's and cycts removed. I will talk to him more though to clam my mind before i do anything.
greatgerta - i will stay postive and calm. Stress does not help me much anyway. I have decided to take it day by day and be happy with that.
Krissy68 - I missed you girl. I am staying positive and it has sunk in and my dh is being so supportive right now. Everything will be okay between us no matter how this goes and we will work on a back up plan when the time comes.
I did need time to calm down and process everything. I think i will seat down and talk with re about doing the IUI first once we are done with the okays from the other docs.
I managed to track down my records and get them to the cardio dr. and i see him on tuesday and i take a blood test on thursday from the re to see if i am already pregant. I told him i started today so i doubt it but he wants to make sure and then start me on provera for 4 weeks while we figure everything out with cardio dr. and the high-risk dr. and that way he said i would be ready for the next step in the process. I'm getting excited, still worried, but i'm doing better at just seeing it happen and being okay. I will keep you guys updated on everything.

Thank you ladies again and just an update for you
well i didn't get bad news but i didn't get good news either. He was not familiar with the condition i had when i was younger so he will research, talk to my mother, and make his decision. On the good side he said that the defect isn't affecting my heart and he thinks he may only need to do one test before he gives the okay.
So I'm happy not getting my hopes too high but i'm midway there. baby dust and sticky dust to all.

Well, I am on cd 13 and still have not had a + opk. I have been so impatient. I am having to resist testing twice a day. Crossing my fingers that I get one soon.
