Ok update. Took a preg test this morn. The brown blood stopped last night. So I only had this 'period' for a day and half! Test has said negative! Used cb digital so their usually very good. I just don't understand why had a period like this. I still have lower backache, nausea, over tiredness but then takes me ages to sleep. Should I just put this down to an odd period? I also read that it could have been breakthrough bleeding! Due to the colour. All very confusing 

Hey I was wondering if anybody can answer my question so last month my period came on Aug.23 and by Aug 24 it was completely gone it was heavy on the first day and on day two it was brownish black color with a little blood and then by that night it was gone and my cycle normally last five days may anyone please help me to understand what is going on

Hi fanee88. Yours is similar to mine, only now mine has started to spot. Black and brown blood is old blood apparently. Are you ttc? X

After my last months two day period, I was due yesterday for this month but still nothing :/ will wait a few more days and might test!! Just unsure if last month's two day bleed was an actual period or not!

Dana, I had been two days late for my preiod and normally i'm never late. I had only had my period for 2 days the first day it was heavy and the second day it was really light, like almost to nothing. 2 weeks ago me and my boyfriend did have unprotected the whole weekend, i've been having all the symptom for being pregnant. Brests really hurt, dizzy, really hot, sick to my stomach, etc.. I havn't taking a test yet, but i just wnat to know if it's still possible for me to be pregnant? 

Holdend, you had several episodes of unprotected sex close to ovulation time. Now you have a long list of early pregnancy signs. I think it is very likely you are pregnant in spite of the one day bleed. Run a home pregnancy test any morning now. Don't forget the prenatal vitamins. GL!

I normally have a 4-5 day cycle, but on the 28th of October I started what I thought was my period, but it was pretty light. I didn't pay it any mind until Friday the 30th I got out of the tub and my period did not come back down....??? I went to the E.R on Saturday evening (stillnoblood) and they said everything looked normal, even did a ultrasound, no cysts just a uti, but that would have not caused the 2 day period. I took a hpt and it said negative. My boyfriend and I are very sexually active, the only time we are not having sex is when I'm on my menstrual. No birth control of no sort. Been together for over 1 year and 6 months.

Not pregnant after 18 months of trying suggests fertility issues one side or the other. If the recent two day period was a bit earlier than you expected it might have been implantation spotting and too early to test. Why not run a couple more tests at one week intervals to make sure the first was not too early. You do have weird cramps and headaches for early signs. How about unusual fatigue, changes in breasts, nips, appetite, smells, discharge, backache, peeing, nausea, dizzy, hot flash, emotions??

I've experienced the unusual fatigue, backaches, nausea, ESPECIALLY HOT FLASHES, and dizzy

The smells aren't different just a LOT stronger......

Should I mention that I have two daughters and it took 1 year and a few months to concieve my first daughter, but I am no longer with my girls dad...... This is my Fiance, first time having a child with him

So my period was suppose to come on on the 9th of November, but instead it came on on the 11th of November. It only lasted for two days and it stopped but before it stopped it was like a brown like color and it stopped completely. Normally my period last for 6 days. This has me puzzled. I took a pregnancy test but it came out negative. 

Maria, a light period can be an early pregnancy sign. Did you have sexual exposure October 21st to 26th? do you have any early pregnancy signs like weird cramps, fatigue, headaches, peeing, breasts, backache, smells, appetite, hot flashes, dreams, lotion discharge, acne? If so, run another test a week after the first and expect it to be positive - the hormone doubles every few days. If not, run another test anyway just to make sure. Best of luck!

ok, so i have not been ttc my husband and i only use the pull method. have been tog for 8 years so if we get prego then would be great. but not activly ttc. i just had my period which usually lasts for 4 days. this month it came a day late. (thought nothing) but after 2 days it completely stopped.  2 days later i had some brown discharge. and i have been having headaches. which i usually never get headaches. im usually a light sleeper and now i sleep all thru the night and have been waking up covered in sweat. not sure what thats about because it usually takes a lot to get me to sweat and the house has been cool. the only other weird thing is that i keep having weird feelings in my belly. (i know i sound crazy or uneducated but im not lying) also have been off (what might have been my period) for 3 days now. took a test yesterday and today and BFN

any ideas what this could be?

Light period, headaches, hot flashes, unusually tired and weird belly are possible pregnancy signs, though together for 8 years without conceiving also suggests a fertility problem. How about lotion discharge, backache, more frequent peeing, emotions etc. Run another test a week after the first and if negative talk to the doctor about other reasons for your symptoms.
