I know this is a old post, but I have been scouring the internet for the past 3 days. My period was due per app 12/28/2017-which is usually correct. My period just before that was 12/03-12/08. I had some mild cramping 12/24/2017. I was sure I was going to start my period that day. Nothing. For a few days I was extremely bloated and had headaches with fatigue.Finally on 12/29 I had no cramping but started to see some red blood when I wiped but none on my underwear. I put on a panty liner. None got on it the whole afternoon. I woke up the next day with a streak on my panty liner. Very weird. Usually i have no warning just heavy bleeding for 3 -4 days then tapers. I spotted on and off red blood for the duration of that day. The next day I had a spot on my panty liner of red blood still saw red when I wiped just like previous day. Bleeding was light flow on and off that morning then rest of the day nothing when I wiped or on pad. I took a pregnancy test came out negative. The next morning woke up nothing on pad. I wiped dark red blood 1 time. all day nothing but cramping. Today I keep feeling like I am leaking something go to restroom and nothing-I see really faint brown spotting on liner. I NEVER had a "period" like this in my life. I feel like I could be pregnant-but then again I had 2 negative test and I am thinking I am crazy. Anyone experienced anything similar? Am I testing too early? Is this a period?? I am super confused. 

If you still test negative two weeks  after your expected period, then it is time to look for other reasons for your symptoms.

Thank you. Even if this stars exactly when i start my period? I can still possibly be pregnant? Perhaps my app did not calculate my ovulation? Could I have ovulated late? I have used no form of birth control in 9 years. I have had 4 children. This is freaking me out a little because it's never happened before. I appreciate your response. 

hello so my issue is kinda long but here is the short version so in 2014 i had a IUD it fell out afterwards in 2015 i had the Nexplanon in for a year . After i took it out several months pass before i started to having unprotected sex i was ready to have  a baby so now i am experiencing something different from usual for me in Jan 23 my period came and then all of a sudden on the 25 i was hardly seeing my usual period bascially the next day it was finish so i started to read up on implantation bleeding i took a test it came out negative so i lost hope feb came and past and i didnt see my period and on March 2 my period came again and it did the same thing it stopped on the 4 of march so im very much confused i dont want to take another test and it coes out negative it would just break my heart ..
