The entire month april I was having unprotected s_x with my boyfriend when it was time for my period I had a very short and light period that lasted a day and a half broke up with my bf end of April on may 7th one night stand started off unprotected finished with condom stupid I know missed my period may 18th could I have gotten pregnant in april though I sure hope so

You could have gotten pregnant in April from s_x around the 6th with a short and light period about the 20th. The break-up would have been caused by the mood swings typical in early pregnancy. You would have noticed other signs such as weird cramps, b___b and nip signs, changes in appet_te, smells and gut function, runny nose, lotion discharge, acne, hot flashes, more peeing, dreams etc. (just a few of those is enough). Get a first trimester ultrasound which will date the pregnancy to within a few days. If it was the bf then the due date is around New Year's Day. GL!

I took a pregnancy test at my Dr appointment today she complained about the second line being faint suggesting I wasn't far enough I didn't think the line mattered

Megan, you aren't telling when you first noticed early preg signs - before or after May 7th or not at all. Most people say even a faint second line confirms pregnancy. Buy tests of your own on the way home and run one tomorrow morning on first morning pee which is more concentrated. The hormone should double every few days so by the weekend there should be little doubt. You will still need an ultrasound to date the pregnancy.
