Hi all, My 12wk son has started "talking" while he sleeping. He babbles and coos so loudly that we think that he is awake. He only does it when goes down for the night. It is mind-boggling. I have never seen or heard of a baby doing this and I have been around a lot of them. He finally started sleeping through the night but yet I am still waking up in the middle of the night!! Go figure!! Have any of you guys ever experienced this or heard of this? Please let me know. I would love to hear the stories.

Zack, 11 weeks, snarl and snort sometimes. He snores like his dad too. He has been sleeping through the night for 3 weeks now. Like you, I find myself waking up every 3-4 hours because Zack used to wake me up with those times for feeding. I used to be a sound sleeping that an alarm clock can't even wake me sometimes. Now, I wake up automatically at wee hours with no help! Amazing...

You know what I do sometimes? I bake cake :-) I love cakes and prefer to bake my own as the store bought are too sweet. Can't do that during the daytime as Zack always needs attention... feeding, napping, fussing, playing, etc.. you name it. But tonight, no cakes :-) I just did some tidying and bathroom cleaning. I'm worn out... G'night, TC!

Try some ear plugs tc, they help and you can still hear your baby if they are next to you, it just helps a bit.... In some ways i dont ever want to see my baby grow up but at the same time i cant wait til she does so i can sleep in hah

Zack's mom- If I bake a cake I am only going to eat it! LOL!!! And lord knows that wont be beneficial to anyone. Ally- I don't co-sleep. He sleeps in his room in a crib. I have a very good monitor that is on the night stand right by my ear. I can hear everything that he does. Sometimes I can hear him breathing.

Hmmmm interesting.... my daughter used to that when she was about three months old. I used to think she was awake, then I realized she must be in deep sleep having a dream. She's 7 months now and just snores.

TC- do you have a voice-activated setting on your monitor? I keep mine on that with the volume a little lower at night. That way I can hear him if he really starts crying, but not when he makes his weird sleeping noises.

Christy his noises are as loud as crying.
