My almost 3-week old sometimes seems to still be hungry after finishing a 4 oz. bottle. Is it okay to give him more? How much should he be eating, and how often?

Hi, our baby will be three weeks on Monday, her ped. told us not to feed her over 3oz. BUT she was 7lbs 5oz when she was born, your baby could possibly be bigger. Ask her ped. what they think. They will let you know. Are you formula feeding or b___stfeeding? The reason I ask, maybe her formula isnt filling him up, also, if you are b___stfeeding, if he latches on, it is possible that he will get more than 4 oz. Just do what you think is best, and if in doubt, call the doc!
