Hi. I am 4 1/2 months and planning my nursury and baby living arrangements...I am wondering if anyone has the mini co-sleeper and could answer a couple of questions. 1.) Do you like it? 2.) Would it go under a futon mattress (on regular bed frame)? 3.) Does it keep hubby up all night 4.) Can small dog (who sleeps on our bed right now) get in easily? 5.) Can it be used as a playyard when baby is older? Thanks for your help!

I have a mini co-sleeper and I love it. I'm not so sure a futon matress would work because it is not wide or strong enough when the straps are tightened. I'm not realy sure why it would keep hubby up. A dog would easily be able to get into it. Mine only sits a few inches lower than my bed. I don't think the mini can be used as a play pen. If it does, there isn't much room for baby to move around. Hope this helps. If you have any more questions, just ask.

Thanks for you help. How does it strap to bed? Also I thought it would keep hubby up because instead of me leaving the room to nurse I would do it right there. I would probally need a little light. I don't know....I am just trying to think ahead...;-)

LOL!! I would love for my hubby to know that we are actually there. My husband has never been woke up. I do leave a light on at the bottom of our stairs. Just enough to see what I am doing. It has a large strap that is on each side of the sleeper and about a six inch square plastic piece on the other end. The straps go between the matress and box spring and to the other side. Then they are cinched down really tight. I don't think a futon matress is firm enough to hold. I put my on about two months before my due date to get my dog used to it and train her for her new spot on a dog bed on my husbands side of the room.

I had the ba__sinet right outside our bedroom door. now she is in a room all by herself. we have brought her in our room a few times but shee seems to sleep better in her own bed.
