My hubby and I are looking for a safe travel system or Car Seat and Stroller....But We'd like to look at something like a safety consumer's guide first. Does anyone had a good website that we could try? Or does anyone have any recommendations about what we should purchase or not purchase? Thanks in Advance!

http://strollers.baby-gaga.com/reviews/strollers.php It's pretty detailed. Seems like most have a 5 point harness that's pretty safe with a couple of exceptions. I have been doing A LOT of research on baby gear, and especially strollers. As for recommendations, it depends on where you live and how much you walk vs. drive. If you're in and out of the car all the time and do little walking, get something that's easy to fold/unfold. Also consider whether you’ll be leaving the car seat in the car or using it as a carrier. If you leave the car seat in the car, just get a lightweight stroller. If on the other hand, you are city dwellers like us, you want a stroller with suspension and a smooth ride, something with air-filled wheels. Those tiny-wheeled strollers frankly would feel uncomfortable to the little one when rolling over NYC sidewalks. Good luck!

"Consumer Reports" also has some good info on this.
