E, when I read your response about how intrusive thoughts enter your brain I was relieved that I wasn't the only one!! I imagine the scariest things happening to my guy especially that I or someone may drop him!! I HATE thinking like that. I worry so much. God, will it ever go away? Otherwise we are so happy.

Isn't it awful? I imagine such horrible things that I shiver. I don't know when it will go away, if ever. I think it is part of our new lives, as moms. I keep imagining a predatory animal stealing him in the night, and biting his neck. How f*cked up is that? I feel like I should be in jail for thinking that. I love him so much it actually hurts.

Yah, that does suck. I love my guy so much as well. I feel so guilty it's stupid!! you know I used to be a horror film buff I couldn't get enough gore, now when I try to watch I think the zombies or ghosts will eventually get Baby too!! (not really,but I sure don't watch them anymore) Can I ask how old your little one is? Keston, my son is 3.5 months. A little dear. but,yes i know EXACTLY how you feel. I never imagined I would imagine such things. God, at least we are not alone!!!

Desiree and E how old are your little ones? My daughter is also 3.5 months. Her birthday is March 11. I honestly don't know why I'm so amazed other babies were born around the same time but I'm interested nevertheless. :)

Hi, P My son was born March16 at 5:36 am. He weighed 7lbs13oz. I think he is almost 20lbs now!! Yours?
