I have been pumping to have a supply ready for when I go back to work. I am trying to store the milk in servings for the baby to eat. How much do 3,4 and 5 month-old babies usually eat per feeding?

Katharine the rule I believe is 2.5oz for each lb of bodyweight in a 24 hour period, with a maximum of 32 oz. If the baby is still hungry, solid foods should be introduced. "Per feeding" amount depends on how many feedings a day. If you need 24 oz for your baby based on the above and the baby eats 6 times a day, then 4 oz per feeding. As they grow older they have fewer feedings and larger amounts per feeding. i.e a five month old might typically consume 5 to 7 oz per feeding, but the frequency will drop to 4-5 times a day.
