Hey Stephanie. How is gorgeous Amaya? We're in Melbourne, Australia. We live right by the beach. The new house is great, and even though her nursery is supposed to be a study, it truly is lovely. You can't see in the pictures, but the window is all leadlight. Thanks so much. Its so much better for her having her own room :o)

OMG we took Amaya in for a weight check today and she weighs 15 lbs 2 oz. SUCH A LITTLE CHUNK!! It is so crazy how much such a small person can change so many peoples lives. (of course it is always for the better!) Is Tahlia sleeping through the night? Amaya has been for the past few weeks, so tonight we are trying to let her sleep without being swaddled. I am getting ready for a LONG night. I am betting that she will be up in about 30 mins or so. I hope not but that is just what I am counting on. Wish us luck!

How did you go with not swaddling her?? Did you crumble like me and just wrap her up again?? LOL. I'm just sorta wrapping her looser every night and she comes undone a lot now. I guess when the blankets don't hold her anymore she'll be ok. She sleeps though the night ok, but she's been waking up really early, like 5am when its still dark outside, so just a quick feed, and back to bed. I can't believe how quickly they grow. We had her in the bath last night and her legs are so chubby, but she has a skinny little tummy. Its so adorable. Please let me know how it goes. Its so good to know that other mums go through the same things xxx

She is doing really good with it especiall since she has been swaddled from day one. She was sleeping through the night but now she gets up at like 4 and I go talk to her and put her paci in her mouth and then she goes back to sleep. She slept today until like 11! We were all snuggled up in our bed (her daddy brings her to me when he goes to work) It was some of the best sleep I have had in so long. I love being so close to her. She actually woke me up once though, I thought she was choking and just wouldnt wake up to cough really good, but when I looked at her she was dreaming and laughing in her sleep. It was so cute!
