For those of you with thumb suckers-when did baby find the thumb?

Hi, My son started sucking his entire hand at about 3 1/2 months! It's kind of funny he cant just suck one finger he sucks 3. The other morning when I got him up I noticed a funny mark on his wrist he had sucked his arm so hard he gave him self a hickey I couldn't beleive it! Not sure when he will suck just his thumb though. He wants nothing to do with his pacifier. How old is your baby?

She is 13 weeks and has also been really into her whole hand, but she is starting to stick one or more fingers in, even while nursing-not so comfy for me! she won't take a paci either.

Mine found her thumb around 7 weeks.

My 9 wk old found his hand about three wks ago. He sucks it when he is hungry. Sometimes he sucks on both hand at the same time like we are starving him or something. My husband says that one day we are going to wake up and my son is only going to have one hand left and a guilty look on his face. LOL!!!

She has been sucking her thumb since the womb. We have ultrasound pix of her doing it.
