My son is 3 months old and has been sleeping through the night for a few weeks. My question is what do I do if he wakes up. I don't want to nurse him because I want him to get past that night feeding. Do I just let him cry?

If he is that young, you need to feed him.

I also think you should feed him. My son is three months old and is usually awake every three hours to nurse. He also has had times where he has slept through the night. I am trying rice cereal at night to help keep his belly a little more full.

Last month he dropped a feeding at night and was just down to one, so when we went to his last doctor appointment, she stated that we should let him cry if he continued to wake up for that one feeding starting at 3 months. He actually started sleeping through the night on his own, we never had to let him cry. Now he has been sleeping through the night for a few weeks without that feeding, I don't think he would wake up because he wanted to eat, more for comfort if he had bad dream or something. He has tossed a few times and woke himself up and cried for a minute, but then went back to sleep on his own. One reason I know he woke up was because a loud car drove by, so why would I feed him for that reason? Thanks for the input!

Babies do *need* to nurse for reasons other than food. He may need it for comfort. My baby usually sleeps through the night, but anytime he wakes wanting to nurse I will not restrict him because I would rather him sleep through the night. I know that at the age my son is (3 months) his wants are the same as his needs. You cannot spoil a baby this young, so if he wants to eat, feed him :) Also, If all the sudden he started waking regularly when he used to be sleeping, it may be a growth spurt and he needs more milk.
