When Do Feedings Change

I have a three month old that is br___tfed. I will probably wean him at 6 months. He eats about 7 times a day now. When do the amount of feedings change, like to just breakfast, lunch and dinner? How does this transition work?

At 6 months, if your baby starts solid foods, he will require a lot less milk. You will be more of a supplement than his main source of nutrition. I believe my daughter still nursed around 4 times a day, then at 9 months it was more like 3, then by a year she was down to once at bedtime. After solid food is introduced b___stfeeding is much less time consuming, at least it was for me.
