Crying In Sleep

My two month old daughter cries in her sleep. All of a sudden she starts to look really sad (she pouts her lip) and just starts crying in her sleep. She usually wakes herself up and then starts to really cry. Anyone else's baby do this? Any ideas of what it could be? Nighmares maybe... is that possible at two months?

my 3 and a half mos old does this. she cries and sometimes wakes up and squaks just a bit but then will usually go back to sleep on her own. i'm not sure what it is??? i've read that it is common though... and nothing to worry about. has something to do with their sleep cylcles

My daughter is 3 months old and she does the same thing mostly when she's napping not so much at night but she'll be sleeping then start to cry sometimes her eyes are not even open sometimes she wakes up but sometimes she just crys for a minute then back to sleep I thought it might be gas or something.I don't know either.

My baby is 2.5 almost 3 months and I have seen the same thing in him sometimes. I thought that maybe he was having a bad dream or something (if they dream) so I touch him to maybe help stop that train of thought and then he stops and cont. sleeping. Never wakes up either???? Who knows but if so many people have experienced it maybe it's jst a baby thing. :)
