What do you do for yourself when your baby is at the babysitters? My aunt likes to look after the baby, when she does she usually has him for the whole afternoon. Yesturday I asked her to watch him because my husband works 7 days a week this week and I could use a break. She took him from 3pm until 9pm. Well instead of cleaning and what not.. I ordered chinese food( General Tao's Chicken YUM) watched a movie.. did a facial and my nails. I was going to have a nap but I cant seem to get myself to sleep so I just enjoyed the time I had alone. Even though after awhile I got bored because there wasnt much to do after that. The real strange part is I kept thinking I could hear my baby crying and I would realize he wasnt here. Maybe Im just loosing my mind o_O

I do not know anyone to sit for me. I have never had a sitter for Aja, not once. I envy you... Chinese and a facial sounds like a bit of heaven right now.

Narc, I'd babysit for you. Sin, the few times I've had a babysitter, I've gone out with my DH...we need the time to reconnect. THough, there was one time I had a dental appointment.

I work and he stays with family, but I don't consider it time alone. Sometimes someone watches him and I clean. Because he does not let me do it when he is home. The other night he stayed at his grandma's overnight, and I started his newborn sc___pbook, but I should have been wrapping Christmas presents. Oh well. I usually just eat a complete meal without having to get up or having him grabbing at my food, and take as long a shower as I want. It's the little things you can't do on a regular basis with a baby. And when he spends the night at grandma's I get a full nights sleep ! Yay! Amovie and facials sounds great! And I always think I hear my son when he is not home. It is so weird, we are so programmed to our little angels

Yeah my husbands best friends mom who doesnt have any grandchildren will watch kohl for us too. Usually until 10 30 at night. Thats when we go out and get some wings and beer. She just loves him, shes our surrogate grandma! Im actually from canada and moved here to wisconsin to be with my dh. So all my family is there. His parents are in michigan. So basically I'm here with the baby by myself all the time. He works from 1 til 10 30 so we dont get much time together. I need my breaks I can hardly wait to get moved. But thank god for aunt mary and our surrogate grandma! They are the best.

I'm in oshkosh. Very boring in this city let me tell you. I ordered from shanghai. They are pretty good.

Oh too bad. I thought you could describe every bite of your food for me. I dream of Imperial Palace. I grew up in Middleton which is part of Madison. Don't know if you have ever been there... It's nice:)

Hey, I've been to Oshkosh! LOL - my grandparents took me, my brother, and our 2 cousins...lol...we went on a go-kart track, and I wrecked a go-kart...lmao...They told my grandma I was banned for life.

Have you looked into a babysitting co-op? They are usually for kids that are at least 1, but that's not far away.

Alone time? I thought that was a myth! Wow, I envy you. The last time I was alone...I can't remember. Speaking of which, I'm getting paged by Zane right now...Bye.
