That makes it hard. But its good he will be with grandma. I don't think I could take my baby to a daycare, I would be too nervous, he would probably be fine. Is Caleb feeling better than he was last week? They are always out to prove us wrong with the docs aren't they. I swear Lucas likes being poked and prodded. He is as good as gold there.They do not beleive me that he is a fussy crank. He has actually been doing super good the last week or two. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it continues!

I think Lucas is just going to be getting better and better. But then teething comes along. Caleb has been better. How much did lucas weigh at birth?

Lucas was 7 lbs 12 oz 22".How big was Caleb? I was surprised Lucas weighed that much. I'm glad Caleb has been doing better. Lucas is finally starting to sleep better, nap at regular times in the day, and is so much less cranky.

caleb was 8.4 20 1/2 inches. wow lucas was long..how long is he now?

At his 2 month appt he was 23 3/4", so he is probably longer now. Not too much longer he will be out of the infant car seat.

caleb did grow a lot by his 2 month appointment. He was 24 1/2 and his feet are sticking out of the car seat. I dont think he has grown that much from two months....but I will know next week for his 4 months appointment.

Lucas's 4 month appt is on Dec 22, poor baby has to get his shots a few days before Christmas. I hope he is not still crabby then. he was crabby for 3 days after his 2 month shots.

yup I am dreading those shots and the older they get the harder it is for us as moms....they cry more as they get older...because they know whats coming.

Oh no! I was actually okay when he got his shots and he didn't cry too long. I just don't want him to be mad at me for taking him to get them. Thank goodness they will not remember this time when they are older.

monica, I forgot to ask you, did you get caleb an excersaucer? If so, does he like it?

Yes he got exersaucer and I am glad I didnt spend too much money on it. It only cost me $25. He likes but doesnt love it. After 10 minutes he wants out. I swear caleb is a high maintanence. are you getting one for lucas?

We got him the Evenflo smart steps one a few weeks ago. He only will go into it for a few minutes. There is so much to do in it, he gets overstimulated and starts crying. I'm thinking he will like it better in a few months. He is definitely high maintenance too. Does Caleb like to watch anything on tv? We can usually get Lucas to sit for up to a half hour when he is in the right mood. He likes Sesame Street and Rugrats, and Fairly oddparents for some reason.

monica and Rachael we had the shots last Sat and it was no biggie this time. She actually cried more when the nurses were taking her measurements than during the shots. Not much fever or swelling either and no crabbiness. The teething thing is a pain in the a.. though. She bites everything now!

Lucas does too. I can tell his little gums bother him a lot sometimes. He is quite a drool bucket. I'm glad to hear that shots went better second time around and that Anna is doing well!

bbk I read on another post that Anna was 27 1/2 long??? oh my goodness she is so big now. How much does she weigh now? Caleb sticks all his finger in his mouth and it makes him gag... well his shots are next week...I hope all goes well.

monica, she weighs 27 lbs even (as of last Sat).... we had to rush to babies-r-us right after the doc appointment to get her a new car seat. With the old one she would push the upholstery with her feet and try to get out of the restraint! I'm thinking of e-baying her infant carset. It's virtually brand new! Good luck to both of you with your appointments! Also question: Which exercauser is good? There are so many of them.... is there a "cla__sic" model? LOL
