Is it true that after your water breaks the hospitol will not let you get up and walk around?

No, that isn't true. If you are able to get up and walk around, most hospitals actually encourage it so that the labour will progress faster. However I'm sure there may be some instances depending on the peson where it may not be a good idea. Sometimes labour can progress extremely fast after the bag of waters is ruptured.
