I have been getting BH contractions daily since about 16 or so weeks. I am now 34 weeks and some are painful. Does anyone know if people that get lots of BH contractions daily like this usually go into labor early? They do say it is the uterus "practicing" for the real thing, so I figure my uterus should be a pro by 37 weeks! LOL! Can anyone give me some insight or share your story with me? I am so uncomfortable already and can't wait for him to be OUT already...no earlier than 37 weeks, of course! I know he will come when he is good and ready, I just really want to know if women that had a lot of BH contractions found they went early or not. Thanks!

I too have had a lot of BH contractions since I was 24 weeks. I am now 37 1/2 weeks and no baby yet. I am however 90% effaced and 1 cm dialated and baby is at 0 station. So my BH were doing some of the preliminary work. Mine weren't painful but kind of crampy. If this is your first like mine then your baby could surprise you and go past your due date. Hope this helps

I have been getting them for around 18 weeks, and am not 34 weeks, i have only have one painfull one, all the rest have been a tight, uncomfortable feeling, when i am busy i get them about every 15mins, but on a quite day i will get around 5 a day, which i thought was alot, but my midwife said its good, and there is no sign of baby coming early.
