Braxtion Hicks Or The Real Thing

Hi everyone, you would think i would know with this being my 3 rd child but I am 38 weeks pregnant and every day now I get hard in my belly witch im sure are BH but now Im starting to get pain in my back but they come sometimes every 10 mins then go away Im confused, i was checked last week doctor said I was still hard but everything was down.. Any ideas?? If they are BH they are really starting to hurt!!!!!!

tell me bout it!im 40 weeks tomorrow and this is also my 3rd pregnancy and im still asking everyone "what do contractions feel like?"i have just completely forgotten the pain and am also getting painful braxton hicks- really painful the past 2 nights.every time i tell my mum or my sister they ask 'are they contractions' and i always say, 'well i dont know!' any way, i had an internal examination done today and the midwife said that my cervix is still quite long although soft so i guess the pains are doing something.sorry i cant answer your question coz i guess we are both in the same boat! goodluck....

Thank you for answering my question, im glad there is someone else having 3rd child and still wonders, u would think it would just come right out!! I hope i dont have pains like this until im 40 weeks.. I do the same thing with my contractions everyone starts getting worried for nothing but hopefully something very soon.... By the way what are ur kids ages?? I have 2 boys 1 just turned 6 last week and my other one is 2... Finally having my girl and shes has gave me lots of trouble.. lol....
