Can Protein In Urine Fluctuate Up And Down

Hello! I am 38 wks and have been having pretty high blood pressure for over a week now. Last Tuesday I had +2 protein in my urine. I have to collect my urine until tomorrow morning when I see my doctor. I have had very bad swelling in my legs and ankles, and am a little puffy in the face. Fortunately the swelling in the legs and ankles has gone down since taking off of work. Anyway, I just wondered if the protein in the urine stays once it gets there, or if it could be gone tomorrow? Thanks

Don't know about the fluation but I had to do that whole pee in this jug thing too. Everything was fine I had protein in my urine everytime I tested thereafter too.
