I'm 38 weeks pregnant and had my last doctors visit on Thursday. The doctor said I was dilated to 1, 60% effaced, at the negative 1 position and had immediate bloody show that lasted the rest of the day. It is now Sunday and I'm still having some brownish discharge. Since my exam I've also felt a lot more pressure down low. I think she may have dropped some more. I haven't felt any contractions this whole time. Not even braxton hicks. Does this mean I'm not contracting at all or is it possible to not even feel them? Please tell me the baby will be here really soon!

Hey Pattie, im in the same boat as you, im 36 weeks and 3 days today, had my last doc's appointment last Thursday also and i was 1cm and 75% effaced. I know that her head was engaged but im not sure at what position. I THINK i had a show last week already, and still no baby. I also havent really been having any contractions, well not painful ones. My mom had 2 silent labors where she totally skipped the first stage of labor (felt like) and gave birth within 2 hours. I go back to my doc's on Wednesday, im hoping they say that im like 4cm's and 100% effaced! lol. When do you go back to the doc's?

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I go back to the doctor on Friday. Hopefully, I've progressed. Good luck with your doctor visit!
