Hello I am 38 weeks pregnant, and just learned i am 2 centimeters dilated and 50% effaced any idea when the baby will come?

I'm preterm, 33 and 5, finally went in last night after contractions got real bad and couldt move from my back hurtin so bad. I was 1 cm fom 26 weeks, but last night 2 cm, and 70% effaced. They gave me 5 shots of tribulene or something and stopped labor. Told me it may be another week if we are lucky.

It could be tomorrow, or not for another 2 weeks. I was 4 cm/70% for 2 weeks. It doesn't predict when you will be in labor, bummer I know. On a plus side hopefully labor will be faster since you are starting to dilate. Mine was only 2 hours.

I am 37 weeks pregnant, 2 cm dialated, and 80% effaced. I also lost my mucuous plug. My doctor said it could happen tonight or 2 weeks from now. Not much help--does this bug anyone else that there is no REAL way of knowing when it will happen!?

I had my baby in July. I think I had lost my mucous plug about a week before he was born. With my first I lost it about 12 hours before. Everyone is different.
