ok so i just went to the bathroom, and instead of the normal whitish discharge there was a much thicker yellow discharge....but it wasnt alot could this be the start of my mucus plug or is it normal? This is my first so i have no clue what to look for.

i started that yellowish discharge that looks like snot around 32 weeks along! I think my doctor said its normal to loose parts of it and your body can actually replace small parts of it too. How far along are you? I had a check last week (36 week check) and after she checked me I spoted and wiped quite a bit of mucousy c___p. But because there was blood in it I couldn't tell if twas the plug or just spotting from the exam ya know?

well i am 37 weeks and now i am having sharp little short pains down there. So maybe my cervix is starting to thin? i dunno, this tuff is scary when it gets this close to the due date
