I didnt feel either of the epidurals i had. I was told i would feel some pressure and i did feel that. But in comparison the the contractions it was nothing. I know some doctors will give yo a local to numb the area where they place the epidural. Im not even sure if they did that with me or not

yea it was a really weird feeling. And i didnt much like not being able to feel my legs for so long. But compared to the back labor i was having it was much better.

Mine felt like somone pushed on my spine with a lot of pressure for about 3 seconds....then all I remember is a warm feeling and ahhhhhhh.....no more pain!! LOL Having my legs DEAD during labour was an experience, but it was better than feeling everything in my eyes. The only thing I didn't like was for about 2 months after I felt like I had a bruise on my back where the needle had gone in. Otherwise, I would totally do it again!!
