I was due on Dec. 24 and have been 1cm dialated for weeks with no change is there anything I can due at home to get labor started? They have tried 4 times to strip my membranes with no luck. Am considering caster oil.

dont use castor oil orally try rubbing it on your tummy with a warm compress and red raspberry leaf tea this can help you to dilate and efface

does rubbing castor oil on your tummy actually work? I have the raspberry leaf in capsule form as I am not a hot beverage drinker.

an herbalist told me to do that and i did one night w/ a compress and you can use the capsules to and the next day i dilated 1 cm just you have to keep doing it
i had to stop because i got a cold and doctor said that it wouldn't be a good idea for the baby to come just then to avoid exposure to the cold

so i'm being induce tuesday because they think he is to big and that i wont dilate any more because he cant engage fully

yes you can actually get it at walmart for a 6 oz bottle i paid like 1.98 for it but you can get it basically at any drug store
