Can you still have a home birth if you go overdue, as i really dont want to go into hospital?

I would a__sume so as long as everything else is okay. Probably not if you have to be induced. My mom's friend had both her kids at home and her first was 12 days overdue and second was 10 days overdue. All went well for her!

I had my son at home 11 days overdue. As long as you do not have to be induced - no problem. My midwives swept my membranes two days in a row before my son was born and I tried every other trick I ever heard of to go into labour - walking, s_x, eating eggplant, eating fresh pineapple, stairs, curbwalking, inserting evening primrose, rasberry tea... the only thing I did not resort to was the castor oil, and I was about to try it. Good luck!
