My ob did a membrane sweep 2 weeks ago and all it did for me was to cause me to lose my plug.... A week later he did another and said I am 1 cm dilated-what are my chances of going into labor or it even working now?

I just had mine done today! Not the best huh? I'm due in 2 days and my baby is already large- almost 9 lbs they guess. I've been dialated to 3 for 2 weeks and am 70-80% effaced. My dr said today that "most of the time" the sc___ping of the membranes is enough to put 1st time moms into labor... guess we'll see! I hope he comes soon only so he doesn't get too big for a v____al delivery or have meconium staining! Good luck.
