ill try and help as much as i can..... youll go in to the hospital and the first thing they will do is have you put on a gown then put two straps with circle things at the end on your belly (one tracks the babys heart beat the other tracks contractions) they will then check to see if your dilationing or thinning out if your not theyll send you home but if you are and your at 3cm they will keep you (there supposed to anyways) if they keep you they will put an IV in your arm and then you get to sit around for hours (for alot of first time mothers) and feel the contractions..if your waters has not broke they will break it..the nurses will check you as offten as they feel they should. if you cant handle the contractions you can ask for pain medication and if your not too far in labor they will give you it.. then once your 10cm they will call the doctor and have you try a "practice push" once the doctor comes then youll be doing actual pushing. they will tell you to stop when the babys head is out just to suction his/her mouth and nose that will be soo hard for you not to push LOL then the doctor will tell you to continue pushing (as you push you have to sit up in a way and either hold your legs or theyll have someone else but you hold your breath and count to 10 while pushing down) soo enough youll have your baby i hope this has helped in anyway
