I am due with my second baby July 2. I was 2 1/2 weeks late with my first and they had to break my water to get things moving. I hope this time to have the baby on time. I really want my 6 year old to be at my home birth. My mother in law wants to take her away to kids camp on July 4-8. My daughter really wants to go. My mother just booked airline tickets to the Bahamas leaving July 5. My dad is going for work and she has never been and wants to go. My midwife is off call on the weekend I'm due. I am feeling a little pressure right now. Can anyone relate?

I can, somewhat. My mother is taking a PhD cla__s out of town that will end on my due date. I have informed her, though, that I don't plan to wait for her! My hubby was scheduled to be out of town for work the week before I am due, but he has a back-up plan, in case I haven't delivered yet. So, everyone is working it out.

It's July 8 and no baby yet! I was hoping to at least be on time with this pregnancy. To make up for being so late last time. My daughter is coming back from camp tomorrow morning. She hasn't missed anything. My parents will be back on Tuesday. We are thinking of breaking my water after my ultrasound on Monday. In Canada we have to have an ultrasound and a non stress test every 2 days if we go past 41 weeks. With my last it was every three days and they are very stressful. I/we are very sure on dates and I am comfortable with having my water broken. I hope the baby comes before that though. Wish me luck!
