Induced In 3 More Days And Nervous

Are there any others being induced this week? I am 41 weeks and have been measuring very large my whole pregnancy. My midwife offered an induction at the end of the week and I opted for it. I was hoping to go into labor naturally and I guess there is a chance I might! But by the looks of it , he is very comfy in my belly. So Thursday night it is, where I will go in for them to prep my cervix and begin the induction. Very nervous since this is my first! Wish me luck!

I just lost my mucus plug today which is good, but other than that haven't had any regular contractions. Lots of bh contractions and menstrual type cramping all over. I have an appt tomorrow to check for dialation. Last time I was only 1 cm. Uggh. So I think I need some help getting labor started.

i am getting induced in 8 days on aug.30 my due date is sept. 6 but the doc.said he would do it a week early thank god i don't know how much more of this i can take i am very nervous also it is very confusing to want something to be over but being so scared about it .i can't wait to hear your bi9rth story good luck!!!!!!!

Good luck!!! I'm getting induced Thursday as well, except I have to go in at 6am! Im soooo nervous... and 1Sttimemomy i know exactly how u feel ... im soo glad my pregancny is finally coming to an end ... but then again im sOo scared and dont wanna do it lol

1Sttimemomy, my doctor also wanted to induce me on the 30th if i don't go into labor naturally by then. i'm due aug. 23rd though. so...today!! haha. but i keep having false alarms..so we'll see if i still get induced!! good luck with everything though hunn!!!

I was induced with my first after my water broke and I was not having any productive contractions on my own. Luckily I dilated relatively fast...ds was born 6 hours from the time they started the pitocin. Having a second child naturally, I can say that my contractions were not really stronger being induced, but they did seem to come faster. I also think there was about the same amount of pain with both natural and induced labor. Like I said with ds (induced) I was in labor 6 hours 7lbs 15 oz and with dd (natural) I was in labor 8 hours 9 lbs 13 oz. Wishing smooth sailing for all of you.
