I am thinking about having a water birth because I don't want to use an epidural because the last time it took 4 months for the pain in my lower back to subside. Water birth seems to be a good option if you don't want to use any drugs and want to reduce the amount of pain during labor and delivery. I would love to hear your views on the subject.

I think a water birth is great. I've never had one but when I was in labor with my son, I wanted sooo badly to jump in the shower. I heard it helps with contractions and helps make the v____al area softer which prevents tearing or episiotomys. Everyonce in awhile, when I have bad cramps, I take a nice warm bath and it helps so much. With my next child, I'll definitely think about it!!
