Earlier today I went to the restroom and noticed that a piece of the mucus plug was floating in the toliet! lol. And just now the same thing..another piece! My stomach is also sore, like I did a bunch of sit-ups when I stretch! Not to mention a killer headache. I am 38 weeks along. Could this be the begininng of labor? Thank you for your input!

Could be. You'll probably have called your doctor or midwife by the time you see this, if not had your baby... lol!! Good luck.

Your mucous plug can be gone for weeks b4 you actually go in to labor. Not a very accurate way of predicting when labor will come.
