I know we are all anxious to go into labor, but there is NO sure sign of when you will go into labor unless you start having contractions or your water breaks. I am 34w3d and my baby is starting to drop already, but it doesn't mean anything about labor. It could still be weeks away. All it really means is that your baby is settling into position.

Is this your first baby? If so, you usually drop 2 -4 weeks before delivery. Most things I've read say that if it's your second baby you drop right before delivery. However, I'm pregnant w/ my second and dropped 2 weeks ago, and still no baby. Everyone is different.
