Loss Of Mucus Plug Now Diarrhea

Yesterday i lost my mucus plug and was very restless last night, this morning i awoke and felt a burst of energy to get my baby room ready, then about 1:00 pm i started contractions 3 min apart again and seemed stronger then suddenly felt the need to use bathroom and i had diarrhea twice, and still contracting about 3 min apart and my back is aching. I don't want to go to hospital and be told "false labor" again and be sent home....so should i wait until i have severely painful contractions or my water breaks or what?

why chance it? I was told to go to hospital when contractions were 5 minutes or less apart for a period of an hour or longer. If you've been having contractions 3 min apart since this afternoon I would get to the hospital ASAP.

i wouldnt wait for your water for break. only about 15% of women have there water break.

Wait until the contractions last at least 1 minute befor an hour. You can have them every 3 minutes, but if they are only lasting 15 seconds or 30 seconds, they're gonna send you home again in "false labor" The key is to wait until they are less than 5 minutes apart AND more than 60 seconds long for 1 hour and then go.
