Im 37+ 3 weeks and ever since Sunday I have been sleeping less and have a huge amount of energy. I made a two page "to-do" list that is almost done; and I am cleaning our house top to bottom. Is this any sign that labor is near? I've heard of the nesting instinct but I dont know if it means labor is days away, or what?

Hi, i had that with my first pregnancy, and i remember it lasting for about a week to two weeks before i gave birth to him!! Good luck with it, and hope all goes well

I am currently 33w5d, and I have been in the nesting stage for awhile, it isn't full b__wn yet, but everyonce in awhile I get energy spurts and my entire house is spotless. I've heard that it could mean labor is near, but I think it is just a preparation phase that everyone goes through, good luck to you.

I started about 4 days before I gave birth. All of a sudden I HAD to clean the house top to bottom....it was probably a good thing too, because I didn't get to do it again for a while after she was born!!

I had nesting almost from the second trimester forward and I went overdue. Don't bet on it indicating labor. Best wishes.
