I am 38 weeks and have been told by my doctor that I have still not dilated and as fas as i know effacemnent has not occured! Does this just happen gradually or can it happen quickly. I'm not even sure if I have had and braxton hix contractions, so I am scared nothing is happening. I do seem to have alot of discharge though and I have been real nauseated lately. This is my first child and it is suppose to be a boy.
