Sex After Sweeping Of Membranes

I'm 39 weeks and getting my membranes sweped two days from now, and i want to know if anyones had s_x afterward to make labour happen faster? if so.. did it work? or should i wait before having s_x?

I'm 40+ weeks and today I got mine done for the 2nd time and right after I got home we had s_x. Nothing has happened so far but I've tried almost everything to make this little boy come and nothing has worked for me. It didn't work for me but it may for you. Give it a try. Good luck.

I had my membrains stripped a week ago today, and my husband and I had s_x that night and everyday since and I am still not in labor, I don't think there is truly an effect one way or the other

well i might be pregnant (big huge possibility) and i don't know what sweeping og the membrane is so could you please tell me what that is !

Well i got my memebranes sweped yesterday and so far I've had cramping and my mucus plug is comming out. I hope I go into labour tonight. I havn't had any s_x though.... too painfull.

I was surprised to see everyones responses as i have had my membranes swept in my second pregnancy and my water broke and i immediately went into labour that same evening that i had it done. i was 41 weeks. im not sure about s_x but anything is worth a try. I am currently 38 weeks with my third! getting membranes swept in one week! I hope it works for me again and good luck to all!!!!!!
