My belly is very tender, when my little one squirms it is VERY uncomfortable and sometimes painful. It is also tender to the touch, especially around my belly button. Please tell me why my belly is this way. BTW I am 37.5 weeks

my belly was very tender around my belly b___ton too. i hated to have it touched. i think it was just cuz it was all stretched out and exposed. don't worry, it's nothing too important and it'll go away when the litle one is born.

I had the same thing as well. B/c the skin is stretched to the limit, it makes it very uncomfortable, but like Shannon said, it does go away after delivery. Good Luck!
