Tilted Cervix And Stripping Of Membranes

I am 40/5 I am going to have my membranes swept today I hope. My midwife has tried to do it on my last two appointments but my cervix is tilted backwards and deep. It makes it hard to locate to check for dilatation, much less sweep it. I had my first baby at 42/5 and they had to break my water. I went into active labour immediately and had the baby 10 hours later. I was thinking that maybe because of the position of the cervix maybe the baby doesn’t push on it right to start labour. Has anyone had a similar experience?
