Can False Labour Indicate Labour Coming

Hi gals, I am 36 weeks pregnant, starting 37 today. Last night I woke up with lower back pain radiating to my tummy. Definitely a contraction. Had 3 more good ones, so I got up and changed positions and all stopped. I lost mucous like snot this week - and am having alot of braxton hicks. Could t his indicate early labour?

Certainly it could, in fact, I don't think it could be anything else. Some women spread their early labor over days or weeks. I did with my first pregnancy. I was dilated to 3 cm before I ever went into labor. My sister was dilated to 5 before she could even feel her contractions. So take heart, you are already working on your labor. But don't rush off to the hospital, it could still be as much as a couple of weeks before anything significant happens.
