Contractions Keep On Stopping

two nights ago i woke up with contractions the tighting of my stomach and pain in my lower back and stomach i had a couple and then they stopped i didnt time them cause its was like 3 in the morning and i had just feel asleep and couldnt stay awake but then the next day i was having mentrual cramping all day and last night nothing happened and then all day today the cramping again and then about 2 hours ago i had contractions again but then they stopped and now im still cramping i have a doc appt tommorrow and will ask them then but i was just wanting to know what your girls opinion is and im 36w and on monday i thought i was leaking and i wasnt but the doc told me she found part of my mucus plug she didnt say how much so i dont know if i have lost it all or what just wondering what is going on with me
