Depressed And Had Enough

Hi I am currently 38 weeks pregnant. This was a planned pregnancy, with a great fiance and a secure home. Well that went all down. 2 weeks ago my fiance decided that he was not ready to grow up and kicked me out of his home and told me we were over. I am ashamed, over stressed and extremely depressed. I have black thoughts daily and I just can't go on like this. My question is, if I talk to a doctor for getting induced, what are my chances that he might say yes now, at 38 weeks? I do believe it would be the best thing to do as everyday it gets harder to wanna wake up and I need medical care. Please don't juge me. thank you

You definitely need to talk to your doctor about your situation because you do need extra medical care right now and you will most likely need it after the baby is born. Seriously you might be at high risk for severe post-partum depression given your situation. I honestly don't know what the chance are that he will induce you. Some doctors don't mind inducing early while others won't do it until you are at least 2 weeks past your due date. It never hurts to talk about it and see where your doctor stands. Please take this into consideration though, if you are not dialated or effaced at all an induction may not work and you may have to leave and come back a few days later. Please don't be ashamed of how you feel, i think most new moms to be would feel exactly the same way as you if they were in that situation. Your fiance is a coward for leaving you and your baby when you need him the most, I hope that you have a good family and friends support system to help you out now and after your baby is born. I wish you all the best. Good luck.
