my husband gets back from being deployed on nov 9th and my due date is nov 10th!!! i am 38 weeks. my doc just told me today that i am 2 cm dialated an60 effaced do u think i will make it tell the 9th which is 9 days away, i have not had any contractions and two weeks ago i was not dialated at all!! i need all the answers possible

it is very possible... with my first i was dialated to a 3 for weeks. i am now dialated to a one for almost a month now. as of last thursday i was about a 2 and 50% effaced and a -2 and still no baby. it is hard to really say. alot of 1st time mommies go over there due date. i went 2 weeks past with my 1st. gl to you and try to take it easy if you dont want him to come yet that may help.

Any thing is possibel, try to avoid spending too much time standing or walking rest as much a possible, I know the more you walk and stand the more the cervix is stimmulated and that helps get the hormones responsible for labor going. Good luck , I am due on the 10th and am ready to have it now.

I'm 38 wks and have been at almost 2 cms for 2 wks now, due 15th, and no contractions so far, waiting to see what dr. says friday.

what exacttly do contraction feel like cause i feel alot of pressure down there and its worse than it was before but it does not feel like cramping and i can stand it!! Does this maybe mean i am dialating more? last time i checked was monday and i was 2cm dialted and 60 effaced. i would know if it was a contraction right???
