There is no definite answer to that. Some people go for weeks dialated at 1, some go days. I am 38 weeks and 5 days PG and I have been at 1 for a week and a half now. How many weeks are you?

You never can tell. I've been at 1cm, 75% effaced, and baby engaged for 2 weeks now, and I'm still waiting....
